Each piece in The Year Ahead Set has been crafted with intention and care. Our stationery is slowly and sustainably letterpressed on a vintage 1960s Heidelberg Windmill Platen Press, using luxuriously thick 450gsm stock with 35% cotton. The result is a beautifully textured paper that feels soft, weighty, and truly special in hand.

As the finishing touch, each flag is held by an all-natural wooden dowel chosen for its sustainability and timeless charm.

Some items in the set are used on the first day of daycare, kindergarten or school, including the ‘First Day of the 2026’ flag and the ‘Start of Year Interview Card’. Others are for the last day of the year, such as the ‘Last Day of 2026’ flag and the ‘End of the Year Interview Card’. Reminder cards and playdate cards can be used at any time throughout the year.

The flags are made from 450GSM cotton card. This durable stock ensures they are sturdy enough for little hands to hold during those important photo moments. Your set includes the flag, a wooden dowel and a ribbon. Simply attach the flag to the dowel and tie the ribbon to finish it off, creating the perfect photo moment. You can then print the photo and fix it to the interview card.

Even a sweet little drawing on the card is enough for your child to feel connected to you throughout their day. Alternatively, it can be given to their educator to read for them, or they can be used for other family members or carers.

These cards are designed to capture your child’s thoughts and perspective at the start and end of each year. You can fill them out on their behalf, or if they are able, your child can complete the answers themselves.

Each interview card has discreet slits on the back so you can slide in a printed copy of your child’s first or last day photo. This allows you to easily compare their growth throughout the year and create a simple, beautiful keepsake.

The cards are printed on premium cotton stock so they feel special and can be safely stored in memory boxes for years. They also match the size and quality of other Prepped Parent keepsakes, making it easy to build a consistent collection.

Some items, such as the flags, can be shared amongst the children. Other items, like the interview cards, are needed per child. Simply choose how many children in your home and we will add the additional pieces at a subsidised rate for any added children.
